chambre de hors dans / ordan's room
Occupation of a former residence for disabled people intended to be demolished.  Occupation of a studio. It is named Chambre de Hors Dans. It is a question of occupying this inner chamber for three months. Listening and the process of bringing out works without a prior image, without a reproduction of a concrete or mental image. It is a mixture between an inner maceration, the world as it is, and supports that are part of the raw materials of the work, such as soils, stilts, footbridges, meanders, deltas, rocks, trees, writings.
It is also the experience of a temporality devoid of will where the elements take place in a kind of optimality, that is to say a moment of balance and coincidence between the parameters.
Several places in the room are developed in parallel, letting a form rest, returning to it later, applying several layers of paper or paint, covering elements that are part of the process but will no longer be visible. From an energetic point of view, we can think that intentionality and gestures are written in space and participate in a general atmosphere.
First black and white, then little by little colors come to inhabit the piece and a continuity emerges despite the absence, at times, of formal links between the "panels".
DOWN IN THE WORLD  -  video film
Although it comes from the Western naturalistic culture, KLAY collective, based on the turmoil and instability of the world, has no certainty, except that we are part of the world, with other living beings, and that in the foundation of this plastic research, there is a way of being at the bottom of the world, where the essentials are to be found. Against a society that takes without giving back and spreads injustices, there is the desire that humanity sometimes be silent, and to let it be more; take the time to observe - and then use and develop - the innate strengths and potentials of beings, ecosystems and all the interdependencies that form the basis of our lives.
The expression "bas du monde" comes from reading Clément Rosset, Le réel, Traité de l'idiotie, in the pages of which he quotes Valéry Larbaud. "It's not exactly loneliness; it is rather a kind of advent of nothingness, following a vast wipe out of the sponge that has swept away all the representation we had of reality. It's not that we're alone in the world, it's rather that there are no more people. Clément Rosset further takes the example of the philosopher and the drunkard, who are lovers of "side steps".
The term is used to express a certain perception of the world and reality, a way of being and meandering, out of step with the functioning of our society. To be at the bottom of the world is to have erased all its artificial principles. I also understand it as a way of keeping close to the first principles. The film returns to the words of Marguerite Duras in 1969, when she spoke of "breaking everything", "starting from scratch", "erasing history, erasing atrocities". Not to erase to pretend that it didn't exist, but to build another world on other foundations. The subject is a walk, a way of being with the elements, a necessary - to speak with Baptiste Morizot - "sensitivity to the living".
"I would like humanity to be silent," says the voice-over. Obviously it is not a question of language, and it is not a question of no longer speaking. But pay attention to it; Because humans in industrial societies are constantly opening their mouths, to dominate, to convince, to say nothing, to put themselves at the center, without stopping, for the common good or not, without stopping thinking something, having solutions. Almost nothing is left free, to be, without human intervention. Humans decide everything, including rewilding, and whether or not species survive.
